I totally loved the character of Niki in this story. She's deaf but so strong and capable! Someone to look up to, for sure. At first I thought the chole competition between the Wimps and the Jocks was a little dated, even for 1990. But then as the party at Justine's house progressed, I started to get into the pranks. Who doesn't love to hear a story about a really good prank? And speaking of Justine, what a totally creepy girl, especially for being so new and innocent looking. This book was deliciously spooky and a fantastic addition to the Fear Street collection.
